We played our first softball game yesterday. We tied. It was 23 - 23 after the 7 innings so we played one more, they went first... scored 2, then we went... scored 2. So we tied :)

It was fun, I am quite happy with my hits, I think my batting has really improved. I also ran really hard so my legs are killing me today.

Beautiful day here today, sunny and warm. I won't say much more about the weather as I don't want to tick off the Nova Scotia people who may be reading this.

We saw Star Wars last weekend, it sucked but what else is new. We are going to play poker this weekend, we haven't played in awhile so it will be nice to get back at it.

So I realized I don't really like being alone. Joe left for Montreal on Friday afternoon, it's Sunday morning and I am already tired of being alone. I got over the scared to be alone part pretty quick and now I just want someone to talk to. The poor sales clerks at the mall yesterday didn't know what they were getting into when they asked me how I was :)

I have managed to watch 2 movies, the entire first season of Sex in the City and it is only 10:30 Saturday morning. I am going to run to the grocery store at some point today and then probably rent some more movies and sit on the couch until Survivor starts.

I can review two movies, haven't done that in awhile. Lemony Snicket - SUCKED, the only funny part was when Jim Carrey was playing a fisherman and he played it like a Newfie. Even said the line "You stay where you're at and I'll come where you're to" that was funny but otherwise I would skip it. I also rented an older movie - A Walk to Remember - oh my goodness I cried so much. I won't say too much as it would give the story away but it was good and I cried a lot :)

Okay I'm off for an exciting Sunday. I will be sure and update with any new movies that I watch.

I started my new job less then a month ago and they are already talking me into things. On Friday I participated in the Heart and Stroke Foundation's big bike fundraiser. Myself and 29 co-workers got on a VERY big bike and made our way from Confederation basin, up Brock street, across Clergy and down Princess. It was a lot of fun, we made a lot of noise and raised over $5100 for Heart and Stroke. The ride itself was interesting, Brock street has a small incline and we managed to make every red light on the way up it so we had quite a workout.

Here are some pictures of the adventure, I am in the third row wearing a red sweater and a red hat.

This is another one as we were finishing just to show the size of the bike.
