I have a new love and his name is Satchel and he is from a comic strip. I have recently started reading the comic Get Fuzzy it is about a guy Rob and his cat Bucky and dog Satchel. It is very humoureous and has made me laugh out loud many times.

You start to feel for Satchel because he is the sweet loving dog who spends his life being tortured by doesn't always know what is going on. I can't seem to explain right now why I enjoy it so much but you should give it a try.

What a winter we are having this year. Yesterday on the way to work it was -30 with the windchill, today... 8 degrees. What the heck is going on with the world. I'm too scared to think about it.

Not a whole lot going on. I started working two weeks ago for the Nova Scotia Community College, the job is split between there and the department of education. It is going good I will I will easily be kept busy until the end of March when the term is up. I discovered the best thing about working for the government... The pens, they are pretty sweet.

I just want to add a quick note with a picture of the adorable Ella Marie. The daughter of Joe's cousin Jen and her husband Jason. Ella was born last Friday night and she couldn't be cuter. Here are some pictures Joe took.

Not much else going on. I started a job this week at the Nova Scotia Community College. The job lasts until the end of March and then I will start hunting again.

Hope everyone is well.

Must. Update. Blog

So I realize I am slacking on my blog. My main excuse is that it was originally set up to keep the rents and the rents in law up to date on what we were doing. Since I see them all the time I suck at updating. I do know that some Ontario people are checking it out though so I will try and update.

So on Wednesday I went for an interview and some testing with a placement agency here in Halifax. I did good on the tests and they seemed really positive. The girl who interviewed me said they needed a "go to temp" that they could feel confident sending out to jobs. In the situation I am currently in (being here for less then a year) temp work is perfect. So after the interview Thursday I told Joe that if I haven't heard from them in a week I will go to a bigger agency (this one was quite small.)

Well... Friday afternoon they called, I have a job Monday. It's only a one day job but hey some work is better then no work.

I think that is about it. If you are reading from the Mississauga-Erindale riding Vote Rupinder everyone else only two more weeks till the election. Make sure you are registered.
