Why are Christmas songs so depressing? It is the happiest time of the year and yet some Christmas songs make me want to cry.
One of my favourite songs is Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas great song, kind of depressing. Makes me miss home and want to be there now. I'll be home for Christmas just makes me sit here and hope I never have a time when I can't be home for Christmas.
Damn I better go listen to Roudolph and Jingle Bells now!

I love Christmas. I brought Christmas music in to work today and I have been listening to it all day. It puts me in a good mood, I smile, I'm happy, perhaps I should listen to Christmas music all year long...

The Amazing Race starts tonight. I love this show. The ladies I used to work with at Empire are having another pool so I got in again. I'm not sure who I have but I'm sure I won't win again.
Joe and I now have very specific shows that we watch. Amazing Race (just me), Gilmore Girls, Smallville, Lost, Joey, Survivor (just me), Joan of Arcadia and football. Not bad I think we are cutting back :)
We (by that I mean I watch Joe) put up our Christmas lights last night. They are so nice and make the room just as bright as the lamp. It looks very festive in our living room now.
I think that's it, 4.5 weeks until we go home.

Okay, I knew it was going to happen but I thought it wouldn't be anytime soon. I am getting older!! I didn't want to accept it but I have to.
First I have discovered a few white hairs this year, that I can live with.
Seeing the kids come to Queens every year getting younger and younger, that's hard. I look at some of them and think they should have baby sitters.
Then there is the ultimate I feel old moment. When we go to a bar to see a show. We saw Hayden last night, the show was excellent the people drove me crazy. They were all talking and not really paying attention to the show. I'm guessing Mommy and Daddy pay the Visa bill that bought the $18 ticket so what did they care. Then there are the stupid girls who insist on bringing their purses. If you are going to a bar wear pants with pockets and put things in your pockets. No instead lets put them in my huge ass purse which I can bang into every single person I pass. Why can't we just all sit down and watch a nice show?? Is that too much to ask??

Stupid Pepsi.
They keep changing the survey that you have to fill out to get the free PIN for the iPod contest. At first there was a link from the main page and a simple 10 question survey. Then they got rid of the link and made it so you have to go in through the rules page. Now they have changed the survey, it has over 20 questions and they are so stupid.
1. How often to you drink isotonic drinks (which are sports drinks according to Google)
I said Never
2. Which isotonic drink do you drink more often.
sucky just as sucky not quite as sucky.
So I didn't pick one seeing as how I answered the previous question as never. Well it wouldn't let me submit without an answer. I picked other and then wrote in "I answered never, this survey sucks" I know that is immature but I want the wiped and the contest seems fun but damn they are making it really annoying. Oh well, that proves the nothing in life is free thing.
In other news the US election is today. Man I hope Kerry wins, I will watch tonight to see what unfolds. I'm sure we won't know right away but John Stewart will entertain me.
Joe and I have started watching a new TV show on the advise of some friends. It is called Lost and we both really like it. We have downloaded the previous episodes so we can catch up and we watched 4 of them last night. One more and we will be caught up for Wednesday when the show actually airs.
I think that is it for now.
